Description
An original framed watercolor painting on paper by Sylvia Asquith, depicting an equestrian scene. The artwork features a woman in a pink top and dark boots leading a white or light grey horse, which wears a saddle and bridle, across a green field with distant hills under a light blue sky. A small white animal, possibly a lamb or dog, is also depicted in the lower foreground. The painting is signed ‘Sylvia Asquith’ in black script in the lower right margin of the matting. It is presented in a gold-toned, possibly gilded, wooden frame under glass.
