Description
A carved bone heru, featuring a prominent central koru spiral motif. This four-tined hair comb or ornament is crafted from bone, exhibiting intricate curvilinear and geometric relief carvings surrounding the central spiral. An iridescent abalone shell inlay is set into the upper portion of the koru motif. Areas of natural discoloration and a reddish-brown patina are visible, particularly on the tines.
