Description
A Regency mahogany card table, circa 1830s, featuring a dark hardwood folding-top that opens from a rectangular surface to a square playing surface. The table is constructed with a central pedestal supporting a quatrefoil-shaped base with splayed saber legs, each fitted with brass casters. The apron contains two faux drawer fronts. The top surface, when opened, is veneered in a lighter wood with a darker inlaid border.
