Lot 1037:
A Pair of Rococo Revival Dark-Stained Hardwood Occasional Tables
Description
The lot comprises two dark-stained hardwood occasional tables, each featuring a scalloped, hexagonal top and a conforming undertier, both with shaped and carved aprons. Each table is supported by four elegant cabriole legs, adorned with carved rococo-style detailing at the knees. Stylistically, they exhibit characteristics of the Rococo Revival or Queen Anne tradition, suggesting a late 19th or early 20th-century period, or a later reproduction. The material appears to be a polished hardwood, likely mahogany or walnut, showing a rich patina. No visible text or markings are present.
