Description
A pair of framed 18th-century monochrome prints, likely engravings or etchings, each depicting a woman in period dress with an elaborate coiffure. One print shows a woman interacting with a floral arrangement, while the other shows a woman smelling a rose. Both artworks are characterized by fine line work and cross-hatching on paper. Each print bears a visible inscription in the lower right corner, showing an initial ‘M’ followed by ‘1784’. They are matted in white and housed under glass within substantial, gilded wooden frames featuring decorative molding.
