Description
A Baker Historic Charleston Demilune Inlaid Mahogany Cabinet, crafted from various woods with extensive marquetry and veneering, indicative of the Neoclassical or Federal style. The demi-lune top features a veneered surface, possibly with a fan motif, protected by a fitted glass overlay. The curved front comprises two doors, each intricately inlaid: one with a large circular radial sunburst pattern centered by a geometric design, and the other with an oval panel depicting an urn motif. The cabinet is supported by four slender, tapered legs.
Condition report:
Good apparent condition. The finish is glossy and well-maintained. No significant visible damage observed. A small, illegible white inventory sticker is affixed to the glass top.
