Description
A 19th Century French Louis XVI-Style carved console table, constructed from dark-stained wood, possibly mahogany or walnut. This heavily ornamented table features a glass top covering a veneered surface with an inlaid Greek key border. The table’s apron is adorned with a carved Greek key frieze and a prominent central section featuring elaborate foliate scrolls and decorative elements. The front legs are designed as caryatid-like female busts with draped details, transitioning into stylized pilasters. The overall style is strongly Neoclassical or Empire revival, consistent with late 19th-century French design.

Good overall condition, showing typical surface wear commensurate with age and use on the wood finish and superficial scratches on the glass top.
