Luton Hoo - Bedrooms
Lot 1272:
Description
A set of four elaborate floor-length window drapery treatments, each featuring a formal, traditional style. The fabric is a champagne or light gold-colored woven material, likely brocade or damask, adorned with a repeating foliate pattern. Each treatment includes decorative draped swags and jabots, finished with a beaded or bobble fringe along the bottom edges. Complementary heavy corded tie-backs, terminating in large, multi-tiered tassels, are included. The overall aesthetic suggests an opulent design, consistent with late 19th to early 20th-century revival styles or contemporary custom work in a similar period fashion. No visible manufacturer’s markings are present.
Each drapery treatment approximately 200 cm width by 350 cm length.
