Description
A traditional bedroom suite comprising a Rococo style half-tester bed and an accompanying overmantel mirror. The bed features a dark polished wooden headboard, possibly mahogany or walnut, surmounted by an elaborate fabric half-tester canopy. The canopy presents with an outer floral-patterned drape and an inner solid rust-toned lining, accented by brass or gilt metal tie-backs, consistent with ‘Le Jardin Royal’ Rococo curtains or ‘Sewofworld poland’ canopies. The large rectangular overmantel mirror is encased in an ornate, gilded frame, likely giltwood or a gilded composition, adorned with classical acanthus leaf and reeded motifs, reminiscent of Baroque or Vintage styles.
