Description
A rectangular coffee table crafted in the Regency style, featuring a dark-stained wooden base. The tabletop is inset with a clear glass panel, protecting a dark green surface, likely leather or faux leather, which is adorned with gold-tooled lines and classical motifs. The table is supported by a central fluted column, from which scrolled, lyre-shaped supports branch into four splayed legs. These legs terminate in brass or bronze paw feet, fitted with casters. A white sticker on the glass bears the text “PEACOCK FURNITURE” and “LOT 146”.
Condition report:
The table is in good overall condition. There is some surface dust and smudges visible on the glass top. No obvious major damage to the wooden frame or leather inset. Minor wear commensurate with age and use may be present.
