Lot 1479:
New Classic Home Furnishings Gia 3-Piece Drop-Leaf Dining Set with Two Upholstered Chairs
Description
A New Classic Home Furnishings Gia 3-Piece Drop-Leaf Dining Set, comprising a drop-leaf table and two upholstered dining chairs. The set is constructed from hardwood or engineered wood with a dark-stained finish, consistent with a cherry or brown tone. The drop-leaf table features a rectangular top with two hinged leaves, allowing for extension. The two dining chairs both feature upholstered seats in a red, small-patterned fabric. One chair exhibits an intricately carved splat back and cabriole front legs with ball-and-claw feet, drawing influence from 18th-century British furniture design. The second chair presents with a simpler fan-shaped splat back and straighter, tapered legs, indicative of Hepplewhite or Sheraton style influences.
