Description
A pair of framed reproductions after Leonardo da Vinci. The first depicts a female head in profile, rendered in a reddish-brown tone suggestive of sanguine or red chalk, set against a textured, aged background, consistent with reproductions of ‘La Scapigliata’. The second portrays a woman in profile wearing a distinct period headpiece, executed in a darker drawing medium on a reddish-toned paper. Both prints are identically presented within ornate, gilded wooden frames featuring a decorative relief pattern, matted in white, and covered by glass. The frames appear to be of modern manufacture, likely late 20th or early 21st century.
