Description
A large, ornate wall mirror featuring a heavily gilded frame consistent with Rococo or Baroque Revival styles, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The frame is constructed of gilded wood or composition, exhibiting elaborate foliate carving, a scrolled pediment, and a shaped top edge. It surrounds a clear mirrored glass panel. A white sticker marked “Auction” and “S Limited” is present on the reflective surface.
Condition report:
Fair to good condition. The gilded frame exhibits minor surface wear and craquelure, particularly noticeable at the mitered corners. The mirrored glass panel appears clear.
