Luton Hoo - Bedrooms
Lot 1672:
Description
This lot comprises a set of four traditional window treatments and an occasional table. The window treatments include two full-length curtain panels and a coordinating gathered valance. The fabric, likely a cotton or linen blend, features a prominent large-scale botanical and floral pattern, possibly Chinoiserie-inspired, with pink/red roses or peonies, grey-green foliage, and brown branches on an off-white ground. The valance is trimmed with a cream and pink bobble fringe. The curtains are secured by decorative rope-and-tassel holdbacks, held back by gilt-finished metal wall-mounted hooks with braided rope ties and tassels. The accompanying small, dark-stained wooden occasional table features a round top and lower shelf, in a traditional style.
Curtain panels: 180cm (width) x 300cm (length) each.
