Lot 1674:
Description
A group of three framed decorative prints. The first print illustrates a Rococo or Neoclassical style French candelabra, circa 1770, described as “French Candelabra,” made of gilt-bronze and porcelain, and attributed to B.J. Glesse and P. Gouthière of Paris. The second print depicts an elaborate German 18th-century Nautilus Cup, labeled “Nautilus Cup,” composed of nautilus shell, silver-gilt, and enamel, attributed to Johann Heinrich Baur of Dresden. A third print is included in the lot, consistent with the style and framing of the depicted items. Each print is presented in an identical ornate, gold-toned frame, likely gilded wood or composite, with white matting. Both visible prints feature detailed textual descriptions below the images.
