Luton Hoo - Bedrooms
Lot 1685:
Description
A collection of dark-stained hardwood furniture, primarily mahogany or similar fruitwood, comprising four tables, a dining chair, and a chest of drawers. The collection includes an Antique Mahogany Pembroke Table, a plain drop-leaf table with turned legs, consistent with web intelligence. Also present is a Hepplewhite/Sheraton-style dining chair featuring a carved fan-and-urn motif shield back, fluted stiles, and an upholstered seat. The chest of drawers is a Georgian/early Victorian five-drawer piece with two smaller upper drawers, brass ring pull hardware, and bracket feet. The remaining three tables consist of two occasional tables with turned legs—one round with a square stretcher base and one square with a lower shelf—and a serpentine-front console table with cabriole-style legs and a shaped undershelf.
