Description
A Regency style mahogany serpentine-front desk and accompanying chair. The desk features a central section with two drawers flanked by two side cabinets or drawers. All drawer/cabinet fronts exhibit visible wood grain figuring and are fitted with decorative circular brass escutcheons and pulls. The desk stands on four tapered legs. The matching hardwood side chair is characterized by sabre legs, a curved top rail, and a shaped mid-rail with an oval motif, and an upholstered seat in a light, woven fabric.
