Luton Hoo - Bedrooms
Lot 1713:
Description
A pair of framed prints. The first depicts the Marmorbroen (Marble Bridge) in Copenhagen, an architectural landscape featuring classical buildings with prominent pediments and columns alongside an arched bridge spanning calm water, rendered in a monochrome grayscale palette. The second print illustrates a detailed interior scene of a grand room, possibly Neoclassical or Empire-style, furnished with white-painted chairs featuring green upholstery, a console table with a dark classical bust, and additional paintings adorning the walls, presented in color. Both prints are matted in white and presented under glass within ornate, gilt-finished frames featuring repeating scroll and foliate motifs, consistent with Baroque or Rococo revival styles.
