Luton Hoo - Bedrooms
Lot 1723:
Description
A pair of occasional tables, comprising an Arts and Crafts style rectangular table and an Edwardian Rococo Revival style table. Both are crafted from dark-stained hardwoods, likely mahogany or walnut. The first table (right) features a plain rectangular top, straight tapered legs, and slatted side supports with a lower rectangular shelf, consistent with late 19th or early 20th-century Arts and Crafts or Mission design. The second table (left) presents a more ornate design with a scalloped, serpentine-edged top, curvilinear cabriole-style legs, and pierced decorative elements flanking a shaped lower shelf, indicative of an Edwardian or late Victorian Rococo Revival influence. No visible text or markings are apparent.
