Description
This lot comprises a collection of traditional fireplace accessories. The central piece is an L-shaped brass fireplace fender, featuring multiple vertical brass supports and a cushioned top upholstered in a brown, leather-like material, designed to offer seating. Adjacent to this is an ornate brass fan-style fire screen, exhibiting a pierced foliate design and a decorative central finial. A complete set of black metal, likely wrought or cast iron, fireplace tools, comprising a poker, tongs, shovel, and brush, rests on a matching stand. The items are presented within the opening of a stone fireplace surround with a visible cast iron fireback.
