Description
This lot comprises an octagonal pedestal table and four accompanying side chairs. The table is constructed from a dark, polished mahogany, featuring a central turned column base. The four side chairs are in a Neoclassical or Louis XVI-style, characterized by their painted off-white frames with gilded accents, oval-shaped backs, and upholstered seats and backs in a gold and brown checked fabric.
Condition report:
The table\'s surface exhibits significant wear, including numerous scratches, scuffs, and prominent white heat/moisture rings, requiring notable surface restoration. The chair frames show minor chipping and wear to the painted and gilded finishes. The upholstery appears generally intact with minor signs of use. Visible \"Pre-Auction\" labels with \"P1 R6\" are present on at least one chair. The ensemble is in used condition.
