Description
A William IV mahogany pedestal table, comprising a square dark-stained wood top on a central turned column and a four-lobed base. Accompanied by a pair of Rococo Revival or Louis XV style side chairs, each with carved wooden frames, cabriole legs, scrolled feet, and decorative metal nailhead trim. One chair is upholstered in a plain olive-green textured fabric. The second chair features a patterned upholstery with a gold, pink, and burgundy paisley-like design. No visible manufacturer’s marks or textual inscriptions are apparent.
Condition report:
The table exhibits surface scratches, scuffs, and general wear consistent with age and use. One chair upholstered in olive-green fabric shows significant wear, discoloration, and staining to the seat and back. The second chair with patterned upholstery appears in better condition. All wooden elements on both table and chairs show minor scuffs and wear.
