Description
This suite comprises an octagonal dark-stained wood table with turned legs and a reticulated lower shelf, accompanied by four painted wooden side chairs. The chairs feature distressed off-white/grey frames with gilt accents, carved rosettes, and fluted elements, consistent with a Neoclassical or Louis XVI Revival style, upholstered in a patterned golden-yellow fabric. All items bear white paper “PXC AUCTION” labels, with “LOT 216” visible on the chairs and “LOT 216b” on the table.
Condition report:
The table exhibits visible surface wear, scratches, and scuffs. The chairs show loss and distress to their painted finish and gilt. The upholstery on the chairs shows some wear and minor discoloration consistent with age and use. Overall apparent condition is consistent with used antique furnishings.
