Description
A Regency style mahogany octagonal drum table. The tabletop features a central, worn yellow-gold leather insert with a decorative gold-tooled border, framed by a veneered wooden band. Below the top, a frieze incorporates several small drawers, at least one visible with a dark, possibly brass, ring pull. The table is supported by a turned columnar pedestal, which branches into four reeded, splayed legs terminating in brass casters.
Condition report:
Exhibits signs of considerable age and use. The wood shows scratches, scuffs, and localized finish loss. The leather top is discolored and exhibits surface wear. Casters appear present.
