Description
A framed ink or pen-and-ink drawing or print depicting a stylized horse in profile, rendered with expressive line work and somewhat exaggerated or elongated proportions, shown in motion with one front leg raised. The artwork is executed on light-colored paper and presented under glass with a wide, plain white mat. It is housed in a wide, reeded or fluted profile, gold-toned frame, appearing to be wood or composite. Visible markings on the artwork include the inscription “Dali” on the horse’s lower left front leg and a circular monogram or dry stamp, possibly “SD” or “LD,” in the lower right corner of the image area, along with faint, illegible numbering nearby.
