Description
A Georgian-Revival three-seater sofa, English, late 19th/early 20th century, of traditional design, featuring rolled arms and a gently curved back. It is upholstered in a deep red (likely burgundy or maroon) velvet or velour fabric, intricately patterned with a silvery-gold or champagne floral and scroll damask motif. The sofa includes three separate seat cushions and stands on dark-stained wooden legs. Two lighter-colored, textured decorative throw pillows are present.
Condition report:
Good condition, consistent with age and use. Minor creasing and variations in the pile of the upholstery are visible, particularly on the seat cushions. No apparent structural damage.
