Description
A double-arm wall sconce, executed in a European Revival style. Constructed from polished brass or a brass-toned metal, featuring a decorative central backplate and two curving arms. Each arm terminates in a bobeche, a white candle-style sleeve, and a flared, rectangular-form fabric lampshade with gold trim. The metal components are adorned with ornate scrolling and leaf motifs, characteristic of Rococo or Neoclassical revival design. The sconce is electric and appears to be in functional operation.
Condition report:
Good condition commensurate with age and use. No apparent breaks, repairs, or significant losses. Minor surface wear consistent with age. Functional at time of inspection.
