Description
A pair of early 20th Century framed botanical watercolors. Each illustration depicts various flowering plants with a naturalistic style, predominantly featuring lilies and other bell-shaped blossoms. They are presented under glass within ornate, possibly gilded, traditional-style wood frames. The artwork on the right bears a “Pre Auction Limited” label marked “LOT NO. 1040”.
Condition report:
Generally good condition, consistent with preparation for auction. Frames show minor wear commensurate with age. No apparent damage to the artworks themselves.
