Description
A Queen Anne style mahogany side table and coordinating armchair. The narrow console table features a shaped top and apron, supported by four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The armchair has a shaped back with a pierced vasiform (fiddle-back) splat, a curved top rail, cabriole front legs ending in pad feet, and straight rear legs; its seat is upholstered in a light peach/pink fabric with a repeating woven pattern. A white inventory sticker on the floor between the items reads ‘PROPERTY OF 101982’.
Condition report:
Both pieces exhibit significant wear consistent with age and use. The table\'s top surface shows scratches and ring marks. Both the table and chair exhibit widespread scuffs, dents, and areas of finish loss on their wooden components. The chair\'s upholstery appears soiled and somewhat faded.
