Description
A set of four 17th Century Italian walnut side chairs, each featuring a dark-stained turned wooden frame with bobbin-turned front legs and stretchers. Both the rectangular backrest and the square seat are upholstered in a muted green, coarse-weave fabric, secured with decorative nailhead trim around the edges.
Condition report:
Upholstery exhibits significant wear, fading, and visible staining or discoloration on the seat cushions. Nailhead trim is largely intact with some minor losses. The wooden frames appear structurally sound, showing expected signs of age and use consistent with the item\'s overall vintage appearance, including minor surface abrasions and small losses. A white sticker on the back of one chair reads \'ProAuction LOT 800\'.
