Description
A mid-Victorian mahogany half tester bed, featuring a prominent burr wood veneer or inlaid headboard depicting a classical urn or shield motif, surmounted by a draped floral coronet with tassels. Accompanying the bed are two wooden bedside tables and a striped red and cream upholstered bench with turned legs. The collection further comprises a pair of green upholstered armchairs, an additional cream floral patterned armchair, and a red upholstered armchair, all in a traditional rolled-arm style with skirted bases. A wooden writing desk, in a Georgian or Regency-style reproduction, features multiple drawers, brass hardware, and a protective glass top, paired with two upholstered wooden side chairs. Further items include a four-drawer wooden chest, a narrow console table, and a smaller occasional table, all in coordinating wood finishes. The upholstery is primarily in solid greens, reds, or floral patterns.
