Description
An assortment of die-cast metal commercial and delivery vehicles, featuring models from the Lledo Days Gone and Matchbox Models of Yesteryear series. The collection primarily focuses on brewery and beverage-related advertising liveries.
A Matchbox Models of Yesteryear vehicle is housed in a tan window box featuring the printed logos models of yesteryear and MATCHBOX. The model is a Y-13 1918 CROSSLEY in a cream and green livery for Carlsberg. The side of the box is printed with MADE IN ENGLAND.
The remaining vehicles are produced by Lledo PLC. One model is contained in a box featuring a header card with a printed PROMOTORS BY LLEDO PLC logo and an oval cartouche reading BULMERS ORIGINAL. The vehicle itself is a dark green delivery van with Bulmers livery. The front of the box is printed with MADE IN ENGLAND.
Several other vehicles are presented in Lledo Days Gone window boxes, featuring the printed series logo and the text MADE IN ENGLAND BY LLEDO (LONDON) LIMITED. These include:
A navy blue delivery truck with livery for STROH’S AMERICA’S FIRE-BREWED BEER.
A red horse-drawn wagon with livery for TAUNTON CIDER.
