Description
A vintage OO gauge model railway set manufactured by Lima, housed in its original illustrated box. The set features a British Rail Class 55 Deltic diesel locomotive constructed from injection-moulded plastic in a two-tone green livery. The locomotive is marked with the running number D9003 on its sides and bears the British Railways crest. The collection of rolling stock includes several freight wagons with diverse liveries: a blue Grimsby Fish van, a red and blue H&B wagon, a brown J.K. Harrison and Co St Pancras and Marylebone wagon, a black Evans and Bevan Anthracite Neath wagon, a yellow P.W. Spencer Giggleswick and Swinden Sidings Rylstone LMS wagon, a Sheffield petroleum tanker, a Seatrain green container wagon, and a red Watneys barrel wagon. Also included are two Freightliners Limited containers, a freight terminal crane assembly, a small grey station building, two plastic lorry cabs in red and turquoise, and a section of track. A small red component is printed with a white Enjoy Coca-Cola logo. The original box lid is printed with the text LIMA – OO SCALE and SUPER FREIGHT LINER TERMINAL, accompanied by a red and white logo for Zima models. The set includes a handheld battery-operated speed controller with a yellow lever, featuring a label that reads LIMA battery control 9V and model 012/A. The components are primarily made of plastic with die-cast metal wheels and internal mechanisms.
