Description
This is an extensive assortment of vintage farm-themed figures and assorted scenery. The collection consists of hand-painted hollow-cast lead alloy figures and components, characteristic of mid-20th-century British toy manufacture. The livestock includes various breeds and poses of horses, dairy cattle, sheep, lambs, pigs, piglets, goats, and a wide variety of poultry such as hens, roosters, and geese. Human figures are present and include farm labourers, dairymaids, and a shepherd. The collection also features horse-drawn equipment, notably a hay cart with a simulated load and a hay rake, both with rotating wheels. Scenery and architectural elements comprise a farm outbuilding with a corrugated roof, a water pump with a trough, various types of trees, and a substantial quantity of fencing including post-and-rail sections, hurdles, and gates. Additional accessories include milk churns, sacks, feeding troughs, and miniature road signs.
