Description
An antique Victorian era boxed educational card game titled ‘INTERROGATORY GAME GEOGRAPHY’. The game is housed in a rectangular wooden box featuring a lithographed paper label with ornate scrollwork, which identifies the publisher as ‘London Edward Wallis, 42 Skinner St.’. The box contains a collection of cream-colored paper or thin cardstock game cards. Visible examples include question cards such as “What is Geography?” and corresponding definitional answer cards, for instance: “A vast collection of waters, overspreading a considerable part of the globe, and separating the continents from each other, as the Atlantic.”
