Description
An assortment of cobalt blue glass and metal decorative objects, including open salt or nut dishes and a goblet. The dishes feature cobalt blue glass liners set within silver-toned metal frames. These frames exhibit various pierced decorative motifs, including lattice and clover designs, and are supported by pedestal bases with integral handles. One dish includes a tall, scalloped swing handle. The goblet consists of a frosted blue glass bowl mounted on a slender, tapering yellow-metal stem and circular base. No maker marks, hallmarks, or signatures are visible on any of the components. The items reflect the style of late 19th to early 20th-century European tablewares.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of age and use. Significant tarnishing and oxidation are present on all metal surfaces. The glass liners exhibit visible residue, surface grime, and internal discoloration. The frosted glass bowl of the goblet shows minor surface wear. No chips, cracks, or structural repairs are visible to the glass or metal components.
