Description
A framed and glazed colour print of the 1935 photograph Antonio and Renee De Marco by Edward Steichen. The image depicts two figures in dark dance attire in a dramatic pose under a bright spotlight, which casts a long, distinct shadow across the reflective floor. To the right of the figures, the print is signed in light-coloured ink by the French-Canadian ice dancing duo Isabelle and Paul Duchesnay. The upper signature is that of Paul Duchesnay and the lower signature is that of Isabelle Duchesnay, with the year 2000 inscribed above it. The photograph is presented in an ornate gilt-effect moulded frame.
