Description
A group of cobalt blue glass decorative items featuring hand-painted gilt and raised polychrome enamel floral decoration in the Venetian style. The assortment includes lidded jars with domed covers and rounded finials, a trumpet-form bud vase, and a small bulbous vase. The pieces are embellished with gold latticework and polychrome enameled flowers. A small rectangular blue and gold label is present on the body of the smaller vase, though the characters are not clearly legible.
Condition report:
Significant loss to the rim of a jar base. General wear to the gilded surfaces throughout. Minor residue present on the interior of the smaller vase.
