Description
A pair of hand carved wooden figures, consistent with German folk art traditions, depicting male laborers or tradesmen. The first figure is a bearded man in a wide-brimmed hat, carrying a large backpack and a walking stick, with a cluster of grapes hanging from his side. The second figure portrays a man in a cap and collared shirt, holding a rectangular tray filled with numerous small, rounded items, possibly produce. Both are rendered in a detailed folk art style from natural, light-toned wood, with visible grain. No visible text or markings are apparent.
