Description
A Rococo Revival lidded urn by ELA Alcobaça, crafted from white glazed porcelain in Portugal. The ornate design features applied polychrome floral garlands and gilt scrollwork. It has a footed, scalloped base with gilt trim, a bulbous body adorned with sculpted flowers and gilt motifs, and a domed lid topped with a small, gold-stemmed floral finial, also decorated with applied flowers and gilt patterns. The underside is clearly marked ‚ELA, ‚ ‚ALCOBACA, ‚ and ‚MADE IN PORTUGAL, ‚ alongside the production number ‚2499.‘
