Description
A 20th Century French Rococo style upholstered bench. This rectangular bench features a dark, polished wood frame, likely mahogany, with four elaborately carved cabriole legs. The legs are adorned with prominent shell motifs on the knees and terminate in carved feet. The padded cushion is upholstered in a deep red velvet or velour fabric, secured along the base by a decorative border of brass or bronze nailhead trim. No discernible manufacturer’s marks, labels, or text are visible.
