Description
A large, rectangular wall mirror featuring an ornate gilded frame in a Rococo-revival or Baroque style, consistent with the 19th Century, possibly Napoleon III period. The frame is elaborately carved or molded, exhibiting prominent C-scrolls, acanthus leaves, and shell motifs, particularly in the scrolled crest at the top and the decorative corners. The main frame body features a reeded or textured pattern. Constructed from gilded wood or composition over wood, the silvered glass plate is clear and reflective.
