Description
A Chippendale style mahogany table and two chairs. The grouping comprises two dark hardwood side chairs and a matching drop-leaf table. Both chairs feature elaborately pierced vase-shaped splats. One chair showcases rococo shell and foliate carving at the crest, supported by cabriole front legs with carved knees and claw-and-ball feet, and is upholstered in a vertically striped red and gold velvet fabric. The second chair presents a more geometric, interlaced pierced splat and straight front legs, with its seat upholstered in a gold-patterned fabric. The rectangular drop-leaf table has a plain top with two hinged leaves and stands on four square tapering legs. No visible text or manufacturer’s markings are present.
