Description
A pair of large, elaborate window draperies, designed in the style of David Easton’s Claremont draperies. These formal, traditional window treatments are fabricated from a heavy-weight, warm gold-tan textile, featuring a repeating patterned weave, likely damask or brocade, with a stylized floral or quatrefoil motif. Each is surmounted by a shaped valance with swags and tails, all trimmed with a contrasting dark reddish-brown and gold patterned braid. They appear to be mounted under a dark wooden cornice. The drapes are held back by braided cord tie-backs, terminating in substantial, multi-tiered decorative tassels in coordinating gold and reddish-brown hues. No visible text or manufacturer’s markings are present.
