Description
A dark-stained hardwood side chair, stylistically indicative of the Queen Anne period, featuring cabriole legs with pad feet, an H-stretcher, a shaped solid splat, and a yoke-shaped crest rail. It is fitted with a drop-in seat upholstered in a light, textured fabric. Accompanying the chair is a complementary drop-leaf table presenting a rectangular top on slender turned legs, suggesting a traditional design. Both pieces are crafted from a similar dark hardwood, possibly mahogany or walnut.
