Description
This lot comprises a pair of elaborate, floor-length window draperies, designed in a traditional, opulent style with possible Neoclassical or Victorian influences. The textile is a patterned woven fabric, likely a jacquard or brocade, presented in a muted rose-taupe hue with a contrasting cream floral and foliate design. The draperies feature complex gathered swags and jabots at the pelmet, adorned with fringed borders and smaller tassels. They are secured with heavy twisted rope tie-backs, each culminating in large, multi-tiered ornamental tassels.
