Description
An elaborate suite of custom window treatments, likely dating from the early-to-mid 20th century or later, executed in a traditional or revival style. The suite comprises multiple sets of full-length, lined curtains, intricately draped valances featuring swags and cascades, and substantial rope tie-backs. The textiles are adorned with braided fringe and multi-tiered decorative tassels. The fabric, appearing to be a woven jacquard or damask, displays a traditional floral or foliate pattern in a muted beige or rose and cream palette. These treatments were observed installed in a formal setting with tall French doors, alongside paneled walls.
