Description
A pair of Chippendale style dining chairs, dating to circa 1970. Each side chair is constructed from dark-stained hardwood, possibly mahogany, featuring a distinctive pierced and carved backsplat with interwoven scrolling motifs. They stand on straight square-section legs joined by stretchers. The drop-in seats are upholstered in a woven fabric with a geometric lattice pattern on a pale green/beige ground.
Condition report:
The apparent condition is good, showing minor surface wear consistent with age and use. No significant structural damage or visible markings are discernible. Upholstery appears clean with minor wear.
