Description
A classical revival style table lamp, featuring a dark-patinated metal base sculpted to depict a winged mythical creature resembling a griffin or sphinx, holding a ring in its mouth. The figural base is mounted on an ornate stepped plinth. A curved metal stem rises from the base, supporting a light-colored, bell-shaped fabric lampshade. The aesthetic of the base is consistent with the late 19th or early 20th-century period. The lamp is fitted with a modern bulb marked „OSRAM DULUX STAR 25W 230V~ E14“ and a „CE“ mark.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The metal base exhibits a consistent patination. The fabric shade shows minor wear and discoloration consistent with age and use. Modern wiring and bulb.
