Description
A table lamp comprising a glazed ceramic or porcelain ovoid base, a dark stand, and a fabric shade. The ceramic base features a deep burgundy-red ground with a speckled gold-tone overlay, decorated with vertical sprays of colorful painted flowers and foliage in a traditional style. It rests on a circular, dark-stained wooden or composite base. The lamp is topped with a cream-colored, tapered fabric lampshade.
Condition report:
The fabric lampshade exhibits visible discoloration and wear. The ceramic base appears to be in generally good condition, with what appears to be an intentionally aged or distressed finish to the gold-tone overlay. Minor wear consistent with age and use.
